UnityDesktop Professional is an easy, user-friendly desktop scanning solution, designed to facilitate information and document collaboration within your organisation. Compatible with all Konica Minolta scan-enabled multifunction devices, it provides basic document management with optical character recognition (OCR), and desktop delivery for document transfer from network scanning devices.

UnityDesktop Professional provides all the scan, organise, search and archival features you require. Also, the ability for PDF (creation, conversion and document assembly), optical character recognition (OCR), annotation, and image editing by combining 3 scanning applications: ScanSoft's PaperPort, DesktopDelivery and OmniPage Pro.

ScanSoft's PaperPort & DesktopDelivery

PaperPort combines the power of creating PDF files, the convenience of local or network scanning, and the efficiency of document management, into a single, easy-to-use office application. PaperPort saves and organises paper, electronic documents and photos into an "electronic filing cabinet" on a user's computer. With PaperPort, users can quickly and easily scan, annotate, email or archive documents into a PDF file format.

PaperPort's DesktopDelivery feature reduces the costs associated with manually copying and storing paper documents by automatically delivering scanned pages to the user's PC from the Konica scanning devices. DesktopDelivery instantly converts scanned images into PDF files, delivers them automatically to the user's local desktop and launches PaperPort with the document open. From there drag-and-drop documents into email, store them on a PC or on the network.

ScanSoft's OmniPage Pro

OmniPage Pro delivers the most accurate document conversion available, turning PDFs and paper - letters, contracts, tables, manuals - into editable word processing and spreadsheet documents. OmniPage Pro saves time by eliminating the need to manually reproduce documents and spreadsheets, delivering highly precise, editable results that can be used by existing PC applications.
